Museum Advocacy Team
AAAM attempts to monitor all federal museum-related legislation and regulatory and policy issues of importance to African American museums. The Association feels a responsibility for the education of legislators and policy-makers about the needs and concerns of the African American museum community.

The AAAM Museum Advocacy Team members serve as a dedicated group of museum activists around the nation who work with the government and public affairs staff to advance the museum community's agenda.
