 August 3, 2006 Museum Leaders: The Next Generation 2006 November, 6-10, 2006 at the Getty Center in Los Angeles This intensive five-day program is dedicated to developing the career potential of promising professionals. Identified by senior museum leaders as having responded impressively to additional responsibilities, these are individuals who may someday lead museums. The program will stress the importance of realistic self-assessment, learning from all assignments, combining energy with focus, and securing appropriate mentors. Admission is competitive and individuals are required to be nominated by a senior museum professional. Tuition fee: $1,100. GLI will consider need-based requests for reduced tuition fees from eligible museum professionals.
